Membership
Membership of DPSS is for people wishing to be involved with DPSS or sail regularly at DPSS. We do not provide membership for people just wanting an Australian Sailing number to sail at another club. We encourage our members to be active and regular members of DPSS.
Membership categories include:
- Life member - receives Life Membership at AGM and has voting rights
- Senior member - $130 - 18 years or older as at 1 September and has voting rights
- Social/Volunteer member - $35 - no voting rights
- Junior member - $60 - under 18 years of age as at 1 September with no voting rights
- Youth member - $85 - 18 to 25 years of age as at 1 September and has voting rights
- Family membership 1 - $250 - includes one Senior member, one Social member and Junior members from the same family. The Senior member only has voting rights.
- Family membership 2 - $275 - includes one Senior member, one Social member, one Youth member and Junior members from the same family. The Senior member and Youth member only have voting rights.
To apply for membership of Darling Point Sailing Squadron Inc, please complete an application form, providing a proposer and seconder (who are current members of DPSS) and submit to DPSS. Your application will be considered at the next General meeting of DPSS. After your application is accepted, a membership registration link will be emailed to you where payment is accepted. Once registration is completed, you will be a member of DPSS.

Membership is current from 1 September until 31 August of year of application. DPSS does not offer pro-rata membership fees.
Please also note that we do not give out gate keys or have room for storage of boats at DPSS for members.
